TH3RTYSE7N is the street/artist name of Joey Rosario. Based out of NJ, Joey got started in his passion for graffiti and street art in middle school. It wasn’t long before he started getting noticed by classmates and began doing custom work, modding shoes or doing small art pieces for a few bucks here and there. This is where he first got a peek at being able to live off of his talents and dreams.
However, like many young artists, there were those who shot down his hopes and told him he shouldn’t try to make a career in a volatile industry and that he just didn’t have the skill to cut it. Lucky for us, these challenges to his aspirations just pushed him to work that much harder to commit to his art and to revolve his entire life around it.
Now, TH3RTYSE7N is continually refining his craft and putting out amazing creations in the form of custom sneakers and digital artwork and design. Not only that, but he has formed the company Dead Light Bulb as an engine for inspiration to anyone who has had an idea or dream and has chased after it in the face of those telling them they can’t. A continual reminder running through his company and his own life can be found in much of his work simply stating “Never Give Up.” He is in the process of developing a full line of products including t-shirts and apparel under the DLB moniker that will be available soon.
314 Industries is proud to spotlight TH3RTYSE7N and Dead Light Bulb because of a shared passion: to tell others, especially artists, that they can see their dreams come to fruition and that there are others out there that want them to succeed regardless of what the critics have to say. Not only that, but there are some amazing one of a kind pieces of wearable art that have and are being created at the hands of this up and coming custom sneaker visionary.
